It is healthy and honorable to weep at the loss of someone we love.
Healthy because such passion must be released.
Honorable because it is respectful to admit the importance of people who have loved and supported us... people whose footprints cannot ever be matched. (Maya Angelou)
This one is from my dad's birthday on April 2nd, 2006. It is one of the
rare pics of the three generations of Morrisons.
I realize the marker is kind of dirty, but it is representative of something, but I'm just not sure of what. But it would almost be wrong for the marker to be perfectly clean. Do you know what I mean? I think it means to me that losing him was not a nice thing, and that any loss like that is not a "clean" thing.
My mom took this, and drove all over town to get the best picture
she could get. She thought it turned out too dark, and took some more. I
told her it was perfect. Chris's name stands out, like it is glowing.
